Theater for Social Change

Maine Inside Out ignites collective creativity and inspires social action by engaging youth and adults impacted by systemic oppression to create and share original theater. 

As a nonprofit theater organization based in Lewiston, Maine Inside Out creates theater with people inside and outside of prisons, building connection, surfacing hidden truths, and confronting the human costs of incarceration.
